About the Therapist
Hi, I'm Alex. I believe understanding yourself changes the way you experience life.
I work with adolescents, young adults, and couples who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer fit the life they want. Together, we slow things down, make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface, and build practical tools for navigating the moments that feel the hardest.

My Philosophy
I believe that people are not problems to be fixed. Therapy isn't about scrubbing away your struggles; it's about combining practical support for today's hurdles with a deeper self-understanding for long-term resilience. A meaningful life isn't one devoid of struggle, but one where we can navigate pain and uncertainty with presence and purpose.
Working With Me
You can expect a calm, warm, and collaborative environment. I lean into a gently challenging style—balancing deep acceptance of where you are now with the necessary encouragement for the growth you desire. We'll work as partners in your healing.
The Bigger Picture
Healing doesn't happen in a vacuum. I look at family dynamics, friendships, environment, past experiences, and core identity. For couples, this means understanding how your unique patterns and values intersect to create the life you share.
Who I Work With
Adolescents
Supporting teens as they navigate identity, pressure, and the transition toward adulthood.
Young Adults

Trauma-Informed Care
I’m a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and an Associate Professional Counselor (APC). I also participate in ongoing clinical consultation and supervision with experienced therapists who bring more than 40 years of combined experience in the mental health field. This helps me stay thoughtful, supported, and up to date—while always tailoring our work to you as a whole person, not a diagnosis.
Why I Do This Work
My motivation stems from a sincere desire to help people feel truly understood. I want to empower you to move beyond shame and isolation, to recognize the unconscious patterns that hold you back, and to make choices that align with your deepest values—strengthening your relationship with yourself and those you love.
